3 + 1 are a free improvisation Jazz band from Berlin, Germany. The band was formed in 2005 and the trio consists of George Kranz (founder member who had top dance hit in the 80′s with “Din Daa Daa”), Axel Kottmann, and Tom Keller. The + 1 means special guest Beathoven.

George Kranz’s Din Daa Daa Goes Classical !

Next week George Kranz will perform with The Brandenburger Symphony Orchestra for a classical version of “Din Daa Daa”. The concert will take place in Berlin, Germany on the 24th & 25 of April 2009, but it is not known if the event will be recorded for a future release! Special guests includes 3 + 1 members Tom Keller and Axel Kottmann.
