Robert Palmer fans will be very  pleased to know that a new CD has been released of Robert’s “Pride” concert, which was originally recorded and brocastast by BBC’s Radio 1 back in 1983.

The concert was recorded live at the Hammersmith Palais in 1983, and this new live CD features many tracks from the Pride album, plus a bouns track: Jonny & Mary from‘Friday Night…Saturday Morning’ radio show in 1982.

Next week George Kranz will perform with The Brandenburger Symphony Orchestra for a classical version of “Din Daa Daa”. The concert will take place in Berlin, Germany on the 24th & 25 of April 2009, but it is not known if the event will be recorded for a future release! Special guests includes 3 + 1 members Tom Keller and Axel Kottmann.

I have been a Michael Jackson fan for many years and I’m deeply shocked and saddened by what has happened. My condolences goes to Michael Jackson’s family, friends and MJ fans around the world. I miss you so much Michael.

Sony Pictures have paid for the rights to release movie footage of Michael Jackson’s rehearsals for his “This Is It” concert tour, which was filmed by AEG Live.

According to Hollywood sources, the film may hit Cinemas around the 30th of October 2009. There is no word yet this release will be worldwide nor if there will be future releases on DVD!

AEG Live is said to have 80 hours of Michael Jackson’s rehearsal footage at their disposal including a full music video.

UPDATE: It is rumoured that the MJ estate and AEG Live are negotiating with several TV networks and pay-per-view channels for a TV special that would be a stage show featuring Jackson’s music and dancing!

It has just been announced that pop duo Daryl Hall and John Oats (otherwise known as Hall & Oats) will release a four-CD compilation set of their hits, unreleased tracks and live performances!

The album entitled “Do What You Want, Be What You Are: The Music of  Daryl Hall & John Oats” will be released by the 6th of October 2009, and will come in a box set with liner notes for each song as well as a 60 page booklet with rare photos!
